In Kiara’s neighborhood, where the scent of mangoes and jasmine always hung in the air, Kiara and her friends Rohan, Priya, and Vikram stumbled upon a bit of a mystery at the annual Kite Festival.

The Kite Festival was the most exciting day of the year. Colorful kites of all shapes and sizes danced in the sky, like a flock of vibrant birds. There were kites shaped like peacocks, kites shaped like elephants, and even a giant kite that looked like a friendly dragon.

But this year, something was amiss. Some of the kites had gone missing. Not just any kites – the special contest kites, the ones decorated with beautiful, shimmering ribbons and tiny bells that jingled in the wind.

The children who had made the kites were very sad. Little Rani, who had spent days carefully painting a kite with a picture of her cat, had tears in her eyes.

Kiara, with her clever mind, knew she had to help. "Don't worry," she told Rani, her voice full of determination. "We'll find the missing kites!"
